SBB Online Application 

The 2012-2013 Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) program will run from November 2012 to November 2013. Applications will be accepted January 1, 2012 to July 13, 2012. Any application received after July 13, 2012 will be processed for the next program year.

After your application is reviewed, an interview may be scheduled. You will be notified if you are qualified for one of the four to six positions/programs within the year. A telephone conference call will be conducted if you have questions about the program.

If you are accepted into the program, you are required to come to Indianapolis for a one week orientation. You are responsible for covering the cost of orientation. This is the only travel requirement for the program.

The cost per participant is $3,000, payable in two equal installments of $1,500. The first $1,500 payment is due one month before the class begins. Online access will not be granted until payment is received.

  2. Download, print, and submit the following documents:

When the application is complete and received at Indiana Blood Center, the Education Coordinator will send you an email to verify that all documents have been received. Decisions on candidates will be made from July - September for the class that starts in November.
