The Indiana Blood Center Immunohematology Reference Lab (IBC-IRL) is a resource for serologic investigation and clinical consultation. The IBC-IRL also serves our facilities with educational programs and an Ask the Experts online question and answer forum.

SBB Program

IBC's distance learning program for Specialist in Blood Banking provides in-depth information regarding transfusion medicine to prepare professionals for examination and highly skilled tasks in the laboratory. The pre-requisite for this program is a bachelor's degree; a certification in medical technology is preferred.
