A special thanks to the groups, member organizations and businesses who are hosting blood drives for the Indiana University Blood Donor Challenge.

How you can participate

1. Donate bloodGo to www.donorpoint.org to find a blood drive in your area.  Be sure to note that you are donating as part of the IU Blood Donor Challenge so your donation will be counted.

2. Host a blood drive in your area. Contact a blood collection agency in your area and work with them to set a date for a blood drive for your organization, chapter, workplace, community, church, or school.

3.  Let the competition begin. Be creative! We encourage you to challenge other groups to see who can raise the most units of blood. Challenge other schools, chapters, student organizations, or community organizations. Partner with local IU alumni chapters or any other group of IU students, alumni, friends, and fans.

4.  Claim your prize. Each chapter, student group, and constituent society that raises the most units will be recognized during an on-field presentation at the IU vs. Purdue football game on Nov. 21, on the IUAA Website, and in the Indiana Alumni Magazine. Plus, you’ll have bragging rights for a whole year!

5.  Help IU save lives. Feel good about being a part of the IU family while making a real difference in someone’s life!
