Calling all Student Leaders
Looking for a worthwhile community service activity for your group? Hosting an Indiana Blood Center blood drive at Purdue University is as simple as six easy steps.
1. Contact Kelli Cornelius to learn more, discuss specifics and identify a date for the blood drive.
2. Identify a location, confirm date and time details and complete Purdue’s event planning form.
3. Coordinate the event, including host volunteers, publicity and event set-up.
4. Host the blood drive. Thank donors for being part of your organizations’ community outreach.
5. Evaluate and do the follow-up.
6. Create an event recap to help next host within your organization plan for an Indiana Blood Center blood drive.
The Dean of Student Affairs and the university administration are committed to the community cause of volunteer blood donation and encourages student and faculty groups to join in the effort to ensure a stable blood supply in Lafayette and throughout the state.
