Indiana Blood Center and the Indianapolis Colts are pleased to announce the
16th annual Bleed Blue Blood Drive & Health Fair.
What: Bleed Blue is Indiana’s largest single-day blood drive. The life-giving day of service attracts nearly 5,000 Hoosiers, of which approximately 2,500 will be blood donors. Indiana Blood Center is taking appointments for the blood drive, which runs from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium. The health fair, presented by IU Health, runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.. There will be opportunities to tour the field, chances to win prizes, and appearances by Colts Cheerleaders and Blue, the official mascot of the Colts.

Football: A hallmark of the event is the limited-edition regulation football featuring a Colts player photo and signature given to each blood drive participant. This year’s ball features offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo. Number 74 Castonzo was also featured in ESPN’s The Body issue—another first for an O-linesman.
