The Indianapolis Colts are credited with helping Indiana Blood Center attract more than 35,000 blood donations in the last 10 years. Of course, that really means that it is the Colts fans who are as committed to their community as they are to bleeding blue for their Indianapolis Colts. Because, don’t forget, the blood donated to Indiana Blood Center stays right here in Indiana.
The partnership has a few new elements for the 2009 football season.
Go Colts. Beat the Saints!
Indiana Blood Center proves that they too are bleed blue Colts fans. Staff observed Blue Friday on February 5, 2010 and gathered for a snapshot to wish the team good luck in the big game.

Colts vs. Jets: December 27
To celebrate the success of the Bleed Blue Blood Drive and the entire 2009 partnership, the Indianapolis Colts honored Indiana Blood Center staff with an opportunity to present a 100-yard-long American flag for the singing of the national anthem before a Colts home game. Some 160 Indiana Blood Center employees participated, stretching the flag from end zone to end zone, sideline to sideline before the December 27, New York Jets game at Lucas Oil Stadium.

But, be warned, it is a catchy tune. Here’s hoping it plays in your head all day long. |
